I started to climb when I was in about second grade with my mom's friends who wanted to take me. I really liked it so I took a camp in the summer, sadly I stopped because I had made the gymnastics pre-team which made my schedule packed not letting me have time for climbing. After about five years I quit and went back to climbing. I participated in the after school kids camp at Iron Works until a friends recommended me to Scot. Ever since then I've been climbing with them for about two years.
Scot had been training me hard getting me phsiced for competing because I wasn't so sure I really wanted to. So for my first competition I was really nervous but all of my teammates were good about helping me do what I was supposed to be doing. Ever since then I have been crushing the comps, with Scots help of course. I think without climbing I would die because it's a way to cheer me up when im sad or when I'm just having fun! Now before every comp Scot says,"A man walked into a bar, ouch". I didn't get it at first but now I do and it makes me think of having fun!
