My first climbing experience was at my seventh birthday party at Iron Works. Years later I enrolled in an Iron Works summer camp. When summer was over, I started going there by myself. My mom wanted me to join a team, so she asked the front desk at the gym, and they recommended Scot as a coach. The next week I met Scot and had my first practice. Ever since then, I have been on Zero Gravity.
Scot makes training extremely hard and pushes me to my limit. Some days, I fall asleep at 8:30pm because I am so burnt from the day of training. I love climbing, even though there are times I start to lose interest. I have learned from Scot that the most important thing is to always have fun! Sometimes I wonder to myself, "Where would I be without climbing?" I'd probably be wasting my time watching television!
